Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons suffered a subluxation of his left patella during the team’s 107-98 win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday and treatment options are currently being considered, according to The Athletic‘s Shams Charania.

Charania reports that an MRI didn’t show any ligament damage, but the two-time all-star is listed as “out.”

The injury occurred in the third quarter of Wednesday’s game when Simmons grabbed a rebound and appeared to tweak his knee. The 24-year-old hobbled toward the locker room and did not return to the game.

He had eight points on 2-of-10 shooting before checking out.

The six-foot-10, 230-pound guard is averaging 16.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and eight assists per game on 58 per cent shooting this season.
