The Toronto Raptors are in talks with assistants Andy Greer and Rex Kalamian to fill the vacant spot on coach Dwane Casey’s staff, NBA on TNT’s David Aldridge is reporting.

Greer has spent the last six seasons as an assistant with the Chicago Bulls under Tom Thibodeau, while Kalamian has been with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the better part of six seasons and spent his last two as the lead assistant under Scott Brooks.

Both Greer and Kalamian were let go in the aftermath of the Thibodeau and Brooks firings recently.

The Raptors have been in need of at least one other assistant coach after firing Bill Bayno and Tom Sterner in mid-May.
