With the NBA Draft one month less a day away, the Toronto Raptors are in the midst of a series of pre-draft workouts at Toronto’s Bio Steel Centre.
Today’s prospects bring a decidedly hometown flair to the occasion, with three Canadians among the group of six on hand, headlined by Maryland freshman and Toronto native Justin Jackson.

Jackson, an athletic wing player who averaged 10.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 0.8 steals, and 0.9 blocks in his lone NCAA season, is currently pegged as a mid-late first-rounder but may return to school and play his way into the lottery by this time next year.
Joining Jackson are fellow Canadians Florida State’s Xavier Rathan-Mayes (Scarborough, ON) and Illinois State forward MiKyle McIntosh (Pickering, ON). Both are projected second-rounders, or could be available as undrafted free-agents this summer.
Also in town for workouts are Kentucky point guard Isaiah Briscoe, Ole Miss big man Sebastien Saiz from Spain, and Baylor power forward Johnathan Motley. Motley is the highest-ranked big man of the group, a projected late-first/early-second round pick.
The Raptors have already worked out Canadian content in the form of Oregon teammates Dillon Brooks and Dylan Ennis.
The draft takes place on June 22nd.
