“Vinsanity” may have come to a premature end.
NBA legend Vince Carter played what could very well be his final NBA game Wednesday night as his Atlanta Hawks fell to the New York Knicks in overtime. With the NBA season suspended over COVID-19 concerns, it remains unclear whether Carter will have another chance to suit up. The 43-year-old will retire at the conclusion of the 2019-20 campaign.
Such a weird night but I am truly thankful for each and every person during this 22yr journey.
If this is really it, I thank everyone for your love and support for all these years.

Carter logged a total of 13 minutes in the contest and sank a three-pointer in the dying seconds of overtime.
“If it ended today, this is something I’ll always remember,” Carter said after the game. “At least I made my last basket.”
The 22-year veteran rose to stardom with the Toronto Raptors at the turn of the century and quickly became one of the most exciting players in the league. He dropped jaws with signature dunk after signature dunk, and provided the league with one of the most iconic Slam Dunk Contests of all time.
A 10-time all-star, Carter potentially finishes his career averaging 16.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. After his prime years faded he was able to redefine his game and become one of the sport’s best mentors.
Carter appeared in games for the Raptors, New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings before finishing his career in Atlanta.
