The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have lost their quarterback to injury.
Tre Ford did not rejoin his teammates to start the second half, and the Tiger-Cats ruled him out with an upper-body injury.
Ford, a native of Niagara Falls, Ont., appeared to be hurt following a 23-yard TD run in the second quarter. He went under the tent on Hamilton's sideline after scoring but returned to the bench shortly afterwards and led the offence out on its next possession.
Third-year quarterback Harrison Frost replaced Ford to start the third quarter.
Ford was four-of-nine passing for 75 yards in the first half as Toronto went into halftime leading 20-7.
He had passed for 1,218 yards with five touchdowns in 12 starts entering Monday.
