Eve Muirhead wants to take another shot at Olympic gold.
The Scottish curling star is ending her retirement to reunite with Bobby Lammie in mixed doubles, Team GB announced Thursday.
Muirhead and Lammie won gold at the 2022 world mixed doubles championship.
Muirhead, 36, retired after a 2022 season in which she skipped a Great Britain women's team to an Olympic gold medal.
She also won a bronze medal at the 2014 Olympics and has captured a gold and bronze in world championship play.
"When I decided to come out of retirement, I was scared, but I was also really, really determined," Muirhead said.
“The opportunity was there, and it would have been silly not to take it. I feel the love for the sport is back."
Muirhead was chef de mission for Team GB at the Olympics in Milano-Cortina this year.
Lammie is the longtime second for Bruce Mouat's men's rink. The squad won silver at this year's Olympics, and has won two gold medals at men's worlds.
