After weeks of back and forth through the press and social media, Antonio Brown has met with Pittsburgh Steelers owner Art Rooney II.

The star wide receiver tweeted a picture of he and Rooney on Tuesday morning, saying the two had “cleared the air on several issues.”

However, it appears Brown’s recent trade request remains and the team will likely ship No. 84 out at some point this off-season.

“We both agreed that it is time to move,” Brown continued in his tweet, “but I’ll always have appreciation and gratitude towards the Rooney family and @steelers organization!”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter offered more details on the “cordial” meeting, adding that agent Drew Rosenhaus, Steelers GM Kevin Colbert and VP of Football and Business Adminstration Omar Kahn also took part.

Tuesday’s meeting comes after what has already been a rocky off-season for the Steelers that has seen Brown take to social media multiple times to air his personal grievances, the latest example coming over the weekend when he called out Steelers coach Mike Tomlin and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Twitter.

Brown is coming off his sixth straight season with 100-plus receptions, an NFL record, and would carry cap hits of $15.125 million, $11.3 million and $12.5 million over the next three seasons over to any team trading for him, according to Spotrac.

A Brown trade isn’t the only big decision the Steelers will have to make this off-season: a resolution to the Le’Veon Bell saga is also expected at some point.

However all of this plays out, the Steelers are again one of the teams to watch this off-season.
