Many doubted whether Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier would ever walk again after suffering a spinal cord injury in a December 2017 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fast forward to Saturday, 17 months later, and Shazier continues to shatter initial expectations in his ongoing recovery.
In a heart-warming video, Shazier is seen dancing with his wife while celebrating their wedding alongside friends and family.

Shazier still holds a spot on Pittsburgh’s 90-man roster, which provides him with medical coverage and adds another season toward his league pension.
The two-time Pro Bowler has already been ruled out for the 2019 season.
