NORTH BAY, Ont. – Jason Robertson scored twice as the Kingston Frontenacs defeated the North Bay Battalion 4-1 on Tuesday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Kingston now leads the best-of-seven playoff series 2-1.
Gabriel Vilardi had a pair of goals, including the power-play winner 3:04 into the second period, for the Frontenacs at 3:04 of the second period.
Jake Henderson scored for the Battalion.
Jeremy Helvig kicked out 31 shots for Kingston. Christian Propp turned aside 27 shots for North Bay.

OTTAWA — Brandon Saigeon scored twice as Hamilton cruised past the 67’s to take a 2-1 series lead.
Nicholas Caamano had the eventual winner for the Bulldogs on a power play at 4:11 of the second period. Will Bitten, Isaac Nurse, Ryan Moore, Riley Stillman and Arthur Kaliyev also scored for Hamilton.

GUELPH, Ont. — Zach Poirier’s goal with 1:45 left in the third period was the winner as the Storm downed Kitchener.
The Rangers lead the series 2-1.
