An unrestricted free agent, Suter is coming off a four-year, $14 million extension with the Nashville Predators.
In 79 games last season, the 27-year-old tallied seven goals and 39 assists. Suter is considered the top blueliner on the market and could be a suitable replacement for Nicklas Lidstrom, who recently retired.
Nothing confirmed as it appears Suter will won’t make anything official till 2morrow but some oninside say he’s leaned toward #Redwings
