Billy Sweezey is sticking around in Boston.
The Bruins signed the defenceman to a one-year, two-way contract extension worth $850,000, the team announced on Wednesday.
Sweezey, 30, skated in 69 games with the AHL's Providence Bruins this season, scoring one goal to go with 16 assists.
Over 338 career games, the six-foot-two blue-liner has seven goals and 50 assists.
He originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2022.
