Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury, Sportsnet has learned.

Landeskog, 26, has seven points in 11 games with the Avalanche this season.

He recorded a career-high 75 points in 2018-19, playing most of the campaign alongside fellow Avalanche stars Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen.

Colorado announced last week that Rantanen, 23, is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.
