Blackhawks sign defenceman Brandon Manning to two-year deal

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed defenceman Brandon Manning to a two-year contract, the team announced Sunday.

Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

An undrafted free agent, Manning signed with the Philadelphia Flyers in November 2010. The 28-year-old blue-liner has played all 207 career regular-season games with Philadelphia, recording 11 goals and 43 points.
