Blackhawks sign forward Chris Kunitz to one-year deal

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed forward Chris Kunitz to a one-year deal, the team announced on Sunday.

A four-time Stanley Cup winner, including three in nine seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Kunitz joined the Tampa Bay Lightning on a one-year deal last off-season.

The 38-year-old winger recorded 13 goals and 29 points in 2017-18 for the Lightning, adding just a single point in 17 post-season games for Tampa.

A veteran of 14 NHL seasons, Kunitz has scored 263 goals and 609 points in 966 regular-season games.
