Blues sign Tyler Wotherspoon to one-year, two-way deal

The St. Louis Blues have signed defenceman Tyler Wotherspoon to a one-year, two-way contract.

A second-round pick of the Calgary Flames in 2011, the 25-year-old blue-liner has spent most of the last four seasons in the AHL. Wotherspoon has suited up in 285 AHL games since 2013-14, scoring 18 goals and 98 points, including a career-high 37 points in 2017-18.

The Burnaby, B.C., native has appeared in 30 career NHL games, all for Calgary.
