Just hours after Alex Burrows was hospitalized with a rib injury, he has been released, the team announced Tuesday evening.
Earlier on Tuesday, Burrows was was wheeled out of the Canucks’ dressing room on a stretcher and was loaded into an ambulance following an afternoon practice in Calgary.

Burrows left the ice and was heard to say “Help,” as he walked down the runway towards the Canucks dressing room. Vancouver’s medical staff hurriedly followed him into the room.
Burrows’ availability for the remainder of the best-of-seven series remains unclear.
