Canadiens re-sign forward Michael McCarron to 1-year deal

The Montreal Canadiens announced the re-signing of forward Michael McCarron to a one-year, two-way contract on Monday.

McCarron, 23, featured 18 times for the club in 2017-18, managing an assist and 32 penalty minutes. He spent the majority of his time with the AHL’s Laval Rocket, scoring seven goals and tallying 24 points along with 121 penalty minutes over 54 games.

Selected 25th overall in the 2013 NHL Draft, the agreement will be worth $874,125 at the NHL level and $70,000 in AHL salary.
