The Montreal Canadiens have agreed to terms with forward Artturi Lehkonen on a two-year contract, the team announced Thursday.
The Finn’s deal carries an AAV of $2.4 million and runs through the 2020-21 season.

In 82 games with the Canadiens last season, Lehkonen set career highs in points (31), assists (20), and plus-minus rating (plus-10).
Lehkonen, 23, has appeared in 221 NHL games for Montreal since being drafted by the organization No. 55 overall in 2013.
