Canucks’ Chris Tanev week to week with lower-body injury

Vancouver Canucks defenceman Chris Tanev is week to week with a lower-body injury, the team announced Wednesday.

Tanev left the team’s 5-4 win over the New York Islanders on Tuesday after four shifts in the third period.

The 30-year-old from Toronto has 20 points in 69 games this season for the Canucks.

The 10-year veteran has spent the entirety of his career in Vancouver, collecting 118 points across 514 NHL games.
