Canucks sign goaltender Zane McIntyre to one-year deal

The Vancouver Canucks have signed goaltender Zane McIntyre to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Monday.

The 26-year-old posted a 25-14-7 record along with two shutouts, a 2.59 goals against-average and .898 save percentage in 46 games with the AHL’s Providence Bruins last season.

Selected by Boston in the sixth round (165th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft, McIntyre has appeared in eight career NHL games while recording a 3.97 gaols-against average and a .858 save percentage.
