Canucks sign Swedish FA goaltender Lack

Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis announced that the Canucks have signed free agent goaltender Eddie Lack.

Lack, 22, played for Brynas of the Swedish Elite League this past season posting a 2.67 Goals-Against-Average (GAA) and a .911 Save Percentage with a record of 5-7-1. Prior to joining Brynas, in 56 games with Leksand in Sweden as a professional, Lack had a 1.95 GAA and a .927 Save Percentage.

The 6-foot-4, 190 lbs. goaltender is a native of Norrtalje, Sweden.

The Canucks have also lost centre Ryan Johnson for 4-6 weeks because of a broken foot. Johnson has a goal in four assists on 58 games this season.
