Academy Award-winning actor Cuba Gooding, Jr. — a rabid hockey fan, if June’s NHL Awards were any indication — got a chance to follow in the slippery footsteps of Mr. T and Curtis Granderson Tuesday night during the second intermission of a preseason tilt between the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings.

Though it took the thespian a few tries, he eventually scored on a shot from centre ice. Having successfully completed the Shoot the Puck challenge, Gooding, Jr. proceeded to strip down, removing the top half of his clothing in celebration.
