Daniel Carr signs one-year contract with Vegas Golden Knights

Former Montreal Canadien Daniel Carr is leaving for a new opportunity with the Vegas Golden Knights.

Carr, a 26-year-old left winger, was left unqualified by Montreal which made him an unrestricted free agent on July 1. His deal with Vegas is worth $750,000.

In 38 games with Montreal last season, Carr scored six goals and 16 points — he has 19 points in 20 games with the AHL’s Laval Rocket.
