Devils sign forward Brett Seney to entry-level contract

The New Jersey Devils have signed forward Brett Seney to a two-year, entry-level contract.

The contract will kick in for the 2018-19 season. In the meantime, Seney has been signed to an AHL amateur try-out agreement and will report to the Binghamton Devils.

Seney was originally a sixth-round pick by the Devils, 157th overall, in 2015. He has spent the last four seasons with Merrimack College of the NCAA, where he picked up 42 goals and 115 points in 139 games.
