The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenceman Brendan Guhle to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Sunday.

Guhle had eight points in 30 games with the Ducks this season, as well as 14 points in 27 games in the AHL with the San Diego Gulls.

The 22-year-old was acquired by the Ducks along with a 2019 first-round pick from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for Brandon Montour last season.

The Edmonton native was selected in the second round of the 2015 NHL Draft and was an AHL All-Star in 2019.
