And this play-by-play announcer sure did celebrate during Saturday’s game between TUTO and KooKoo in Finland’s second-tier Mestis league.
When TUTO goaltender (and Minnesota Wild prospect) Kaapo Kahkonen fires a shot into KooKoo’s empty net, the animated announcer loses all control, making a playcall that might be even more amazing than the teams’ names.
Indeed, his call is so filled with excitement that it’s nearly impossible not to cheer along with him. Now that’s pure hockey joy.
