Calgary Flames defenceman Noah Hanifin was helped off the ice by teammates midway through the third period on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Hanifin was seen favouring his lower body as he exited through the end boards.

He returned to the ice shortly afterwards to finish out the game.
