Flames sign Glenn Gawdin to entry-level deal

The Calgary Flames have signed centre Glenn Gawdin to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Gawdin was an unsigned pick of the St. Louis Blues, which drafted the Richmond, B.C., native in the fourth round (116th overall) in 2015.

The 20-year-old attended Flames training camp this year, before returning to the WHL to captain the Swift Current Broncos.

He has 14 goals and 40 points in 18 games with the Broncos this season.
