Islanders ink Ross Johnston to 4-year contract

The New York Islanders have signed forward Ross Johnston to a four-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Johnston scored three goals and added three assists in 24 games with the Islanders last season. The 24-year-old also recorded three goals and eight assists in 38 games with the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers in 2017-18.

New York signed Johnston as a free agent during his final season of junior hockey in 2014-15.
