Islanders sign Bode Wilde to entry-level contract

The New York Islanders have signed defenceman Bode Wilde to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Wilde has five goals and 15 assists in 19 games during his first season with the OHL’s Saginaw Spirit. The 18-year-old played two seasons with the United States National Team Development Program prior to playing in the OHL.

New York selected Wilde in the second round of the 2018 NHL Draft.
