Jets agree to two-way contract with forward Gabriel Bourque

The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with free agent forward Gabriel Bourque.

The contract pays Bourque $700,000 at the NHL level.

Bourque, 28, is an eight-year NHL veteran. Last season in 55 games with the Colorado Avalanche, he had two goals and eight points. He also had one goal in 12 playoff games.

Originally a fifth-round pick by the Nashville Predators in 2009, the Rimouski, Que., native has 38 goals and 97 points in 361 games with the Predators and Avalanche.
