Jets’ Bryan Little out ‘indefinitely’ with lower body injury

Bryan Little left the game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday following an accidentally knee-on-knee collision with Bryan Bickell.

Winnipeg Jets forward Bryan Little is out “indefinitely” with a lower body injury, head coach Paul Maurice announced Friday.

“It’s a longer-term injury,” Maurice said during a media availability ahead of Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Wild. “We’ll have a better idea how long in a couple weeks.”

Little left Thursday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes after colliding with Bryan Bickell just 10 minutes into the game. He did not return. (See the play at the top of this post.)

The 28-year-old centreman struggled with injuries last season, too, as his season was cut to just 57 games due to a fractured vertebrae.
