Jets reassign defenceman Ville Heinola to Finnish league’s Lukko Rauma

The Winnipeg Jets have reassigned defenceman Ville Heinola to Lukko Rauma in the Finnish Liiga, the team announced Friday.
A Finland native, Heinola played eight games with the Jets this season after being selected with the 20th pick in the 2019 draft. He recorded one goal and five points.
The 18-year-old was assigned to the Manitoba Moose on Oct. 31, appearing in three games and adding one assist.
Heinola played for Lukko Rauma in the 2018-19 season, finishing with two goals and 14 points in 34 games.
