Jets sign defenceman Cam Schilling to 1-year, two-way contract

The Winnipeg Jets announced the signing of defenceman Cameron Schilling to a one-year, two-way contract worth $650,000.

Schilling played 71 games for the Manitoba Moose last season, collecting 26 assists and scoring six goals. He has played six career NHL games, all with the Washington Capitals.

The 29-year-old has made 426 AHL appearances, collecting 130 points (32 goals and 98 assists) as well as 341 penalty minutes.
