With the Stanley Cup Playoffs winding down, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon decided Wednesday night was the perfect time for his latest batch of NHL superlatives.
Fallon poked fun at players on teams that participated in Round 2. Alex Ovechkin, Joe Thornton and Logan Couture were among the victims.

Don’t get it twisted, we love us some Tonight Show superlatives, but the jokes about Victor Hedman and Kevin Shattenkirk were more recycled than a “yo mama” zinger.
In fairness to Jimmy, there is a tinge of Brad Pitt to Hedman and Shattenkirk could definitely be related to the late Andy Kaufman.
