Having lost their past four-straight games, the Winnipeg Jets decided to shake up their lineup Tuesday night by benching star forward Evander Kane against the Vancouver Canucks.

There was no indication earlier in the day that the 23-year-old Vancouver native would be watching from the press box in his hometown after he spoke with the media on Tuesday morning.
Kane has only played in 37 games due to injury this season and has put up 22 points in the process.
In the past three games, Kane has been held scoreless and was a minus-seven.
