Kings agree to entry-level deals with Arthur Kaliyev, Jordan Spence

The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to three-year entry-level contracts with two prospects, forward Arthur Kaliyev and defenceman Jordan Spence.

Terms of the contracts were not released.

Kaliyev, 18, had 44 goals and 98 points in 57 games with the OHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs this season. The right-winger, who was a finalist for the OHL’s Most Outstanding Player of the Year Award, was a second-round pick by the Kings in 2019.

Spence, 19, had 52 points and a plus-49 rating in 60 games with the QMJHL’s Moncton Wildcats this season and won the league’s defenceman of the year award. Originally born in Sydney, Australia, Spence was a fourth-round pick by the Kings in 2019.
