Kings sign forward Drake Rymsha to three-year entry-level contract

The Los Angeles Kings have signed forward Drake Rymsha to a three-year entry-level contract, the team announced on Saturday.

The 20-year-old appeared in 68 regular-season games last season with the OHL’s Sarnia Sting, posting 73 points, a plus-11 rating and 70 penalty minutes. The native of Huntington Woods, Mich., also racked up nine points and 10 penalty minutes in 12 post-season games.

Selected in the fifth round (138th overall) by the Kings in the 2017 NHL Draft, Rymsha has posted 156 points and 229 penalty minutes in 227 regular-season games in his four seasons in the OHL with Sarnia, London and Ottawa. He has also posted 12 points and 41 penalty minutes in 31 playoff games.
