Kings sign goaltender Matthew Villalta to a entry-level contract

The Los Angeles Kings signed goaltender Matthew Villalta to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced in a press release on Friday.

The 18-year-old appeared in 49 games for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds registering a 40-5-2-2 record with a .908 save percentage and 2.58 goals-against average.

He was originally selected by the Kings in the third round of the 2017 NHL draft.
