The Los Angeles Kings have signed right winger Samuel Fagemo to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Thursday.
The 2019 second-round pick (50th overall) recorded 25 points in 42 games with Frolunda HC in Sweden last season. The 19-year-old put up 10 points and led all rookies in goals with six as Frolunda captured the SHL championship.
Fagemo also suited up for Sweden at the 2019 world juniors.
He was selected with the latter of the Kings’ two second-round picks at June’s NHL draft. They grabbed Arthur Kaliyev at No. 33.
