Maple Leafs re-sign defenceman Martin Marincin on one-year deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed defenceman Martin Marincin on a one-year, $800,000 contract.

Marincin has been with the Leafs since the 2015-16 season after beginning his NHL career in the Edmonton Oilers’ organization.

The 26-year-old only got into two games for the Leafs last season, but played 52 with the Calder Cup champion Toronto Marlies where he had four goals and 16 assists.
