The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed goaltender Ian Scott to a three-year entry-level contract.
Scott, 19, is currently attending Team Canada’s world juniors training camp in Victoria.
Originally a fourth round pick by the Maple Leafs in 2017, Scott is currently starring on the WHL-leading Prince Albert Raiders. He made his pro debut last season with the Toronto Marlies, making one start last season in a 4-3 win over the Belleville Senators.
In 26 WHL games this season, he has a 23-2-1 record with a 1.61 goals-against average and .943 save percentage, leading the league in both categories.
He also has four shutouts this season. And one goal.
