In 37 games this season, Aberg has 11 goals, eight assists and 19 points with the Ducks. The 25-year-old was claimed off waivers from the Edmonton Oilers back on Oct. 1.
Aberg was selected in the second round (37th overall) of the 2012 draft by the Nashville Predators. The trade will reunite him with Wild manager Paul Fenton, who was the assistant general manager in Nashville when the winger was drafted.
Over 105 career games with the Ducks and Predators, Aberg has 16 goals, 21 assists and 37 points.
Kloos was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Wild in 2017 and has only played in one career NHL game, against the Vancouver Canucks. The 25-year-old has 12 goals, 18 assists and 30 points in 34 games with the AHL’s Iowa Wild this season.
