The Florida Panthers have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with forward Frank Vatrano, the team announced Friday.
“Frank brings scoring ability and depth to our forward group,” Panthers general manager Dale Tallon said in a team release. “He was a solid addition to our forward group during our playoff push and we’re excited for his continued development with the Panthers.”
The 24-year-old appeared in 16 games for Florida this past season, scoring five goals and eight points after being acquired from the Boston Bruins in February in exchange for a 2018 third-round pick.
Coming into the league as an undrafted free agent in 2015-16, Vatrano has 39 total points in 124 career NHL games.
