Penguins sign forward Jimmy Hayes to two-way contract

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Jimmy Hayes to a one-year, two-way contract. The contract is valued at $650,000.

Hayes, 28, spent the last season with the New Jersey Devils where he had nine points in 33 games.

For his career, he’s played in 334 games with Chicago, Florida, Boston and the Devils.
