The Nashville Predators‘ injury woes continued Saturday with news that Filip Forsberg had been placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.

The team also announced that centre Nick Bonino would miss Saturday’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks with an illness.

Forsberg joins P.K. Subban, Viktor Arvidsson and Kyle Turris on the sidelines as the injuries continue to pile up.

Forsberg skated a season-low 15:08 in Thursday’s 3-0 loss to the Arizona Coyotes. In 26 games this season he has 14 goals and 22 points, leading the team in both categories.

To fill in for Forsberg and Bonino, the Predators have recalled forward Eeli Tolvanen and Anthony Richard from the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL.

Tolvanen, 19, was the Predators’ first-round pick in 2017. In 21 games with the Admirals, he has four goals and 11 points.

Richard, 21, was a fourth-round pick by the Predators in 2015. He currently leads the Admirals in scoring, with eight goals and 12 points in 21 games this season.
