Forward Tobias Lindberg has signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Lindberg was headed for restricted free agency following the conclusion of his entry-level contract.
His new deal will pay him $650,000 as an NHLer.
The 22-year-old was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the fourth round (102nd overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
He has since spent time with the Toronto and Vegas organizations, before being traded to Pittsburgh at this past year’s trade deadline.
