Minnesota Wild restricted free agent defenceman Jonathon Blum will play in the KHL for the 2015-16 season.

Blum suited up for just four games with the Wild last season, spending most of his time with the Iowa Wild. He played 66 games with the AHL team registering 12 goals and 25 assists.

The 26-year-old was drafted 23rd overall by the Predators 2007. He spent three seasons in the Nashville organization before signing with Minnesota in 2013. He has played 110 regular season games in his NHL career.

Blum joins an Admiral Vladivostok team that features a handful of notable players including former NHLers Bergfors Niclas, Oskars Bartulis and Nikita Filatov.
