The Minnesota Wild have signed recently acquired defender Fedor Gordeev to a three-year, entry-level deal, the club announced Thursday.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The Wild added Gordeev earlier in the day via a trade with the Maple Leafs, sending a seventh-round pick to Toronto for the 20-year-old rearguard.

Gordeev was originally drafted 141st overall by the Maple Leafs in the 2017 NHL Draft. He posted 13 points in 31 games for the OHL’s Guelph Storm this season, splitting time in 2018-19 between Guelph and the Flint Firebirds, for whom he posted 19 points in 32 games this year.
