Addison Barger's prodigious power was on display again Wednesday night as he works his way back to the majors.
The 26-year-old utility player smashed his second home run in the last three games on Wednesday while on a rehab assignment with the single-A Dunedin Blue Jays.
Barger went 1-for-4, recording two fly outs and a ground out in his other three at-bats.
He was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left ankle sprain on April 7. The left-handed-hitting slugger sustained the injury while attempting to leg out an infield single in an early-April game against the Chicago White Sox, initially being diagnosed with bilateral ankle discomfort.
Prior to his injury, Barger had yet to replicate his success from last season, logging just one hit and three walks in 23 plate appearances.

Barger broke out for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2025 with 21 home runs, 74 RBIs and an .756 OPS. He added three homers, drove in nine runs and posted a 1.025 OPS during the Blue Jays' run to the World Series, including the first-ever pinch-hit grand slam in Game 1 of the Fall Classic.
His home run stood up as the lone run in Dunedin's 7-1 loss to the Bradenton Marauders, the low-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Barger is tentatively slated to rejoin Toronto for its weekend series at home against the Los Angeles Angels, according to Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith.
